Macarons series – TWG @ IFC

It has been a while since i last had some macarons, not to mentioned having macarons from newly discovered brands.

Not knowing that the singaporean tea house actually opened up a tearoom in IFC recently, i had the luck to pass by last night and Jim immediately got me some tea flavor macarons to try!

6 different flavors left and here you go:

My favourite restaurant near office

Yes, back to food!!

I am so glad that my office is situated in a very interesting area, lots of studios and small shops, cafes & restaurants. One of my favourite restaurant is Oolaa, just next to my office serving lovely food with a spacious yet cozy environment.

I like their interior as much as their pasta!

Happy valentines day

Honestly, I think I’ve past the years when I wanted celebrations for the valentines day! When you look around, it’s been way too commercial and money driven these days. No worries, i’m not really against the idea of showing ur loved ones how much you love him/her, I just thought if you’re in love with the right guy, everyday should be valentines day!

My loved one is not in hk at the moment so at least we are not doing anything that keeps the economy blooming! : p

So what I’ve choose to do is to buy some nice cakes n share with my colleagues and family! So here we go:

Cake no. 1: classic lemon tart

Cake no. 2: champaign mouse cake, I love this one!

Cake no. 3: hazelnut choco, this is nice too!!

Cake no. 4: caramel nepolian, this is quite special n nice too!

As for family, I got a more practical cake that is the devil’s cake and we r gonna enjoy it after dinner!

As for you, no matter you’re in love with someone or still waiting for your better half, why not take this opportunity to show people around you your love n care for them instead?

The story of my watch

It’s always difficult to find the perfect watch. I love boylish ones but not too masculine. I especially like those with brown leather! So this is the one that i was wearing. Its nothing expensive and probably not doing a very good job as a watch – it runs a bit faster everyday. Unluckily, i drop him on the floor today, creating a ripple effect on the glass. It’s still alive!!

So as Jim advised me all the time, I should start looking for my next watch. Yes, i’ve always been looking, especially on brands that i like such as the Denish brand SKAGEN, still haven’t managed to find something i fancy until i read on a blog post randomly today about he gears of a designer – Josh Owen (you can read the post here) and came across the watch that he wears – Uniform Ware 200 series watch and i immediately fall in love with it’s simplicity and charismatic look:

I’ll seriously think about shipping it from UK………..

Tea for one

Finally my days of rushing for deadlines has come to an end (for a couple of days I hope!) So I am lucky enough to have a 10 minute tea break outside office during lunch!

Although its not a big thing but I really enjoy such relaxing moment!
